Our Screen Printing Screens

Zim Frames are custom made, and are clearly the best on the market today. Made from Douglas Fir wood, we use a triple mortise and tenon joint for extra durability. Zim Frames are carefully crafted with 1 1/2" x 1 5/8" wood stock, which allows for the highest tension possible. Larger frames can be made using a 1 1/2" x 2" wood stock.
Zim Frames are nicely sanded, with rounded corners. The mesh is monofilament polyester, and is available in 30-160 white mesh counts and 200-390 gold mesh counts. Mesh is available for purchase per yard in 50" and 60 " widths.

Scoop Coaters
Coat screen evenly and uniformly with Zim Emulsion Coaters. Designed for easy and comfortable handling, they provide a smooth layer of emulsion. Scoop coaters are designed with just the right angle, and are calibrated to give a perfect coating of emulsion every time.

Made from hard anodized gold aluminum, their permanent enclosed ends will not leak. They are available in sizes from 2 inches to 72 inches for different applications.

Coating area is one inch less than actual size
When ordering a scoop coater, measure the inside dimension of your screen, and subtract two inches, allowing one inch between the emulsion and the frame.

Units work best when coating edge is cleaned with damp cloth and warm water after each use.

Squeegees
All Zim Squeegee blades are polyurethane and transparent amber . Blades are available in 50, 60, 70, and 80 durometers. Also available in 60/85(blue) and 70/85(green) Dual Durometer Squeegee blade to give the printer the feel of a harder Squeegee with a softer printing edge.
Complete Squeegees and Handles are available up to 72 inches
Blades only are available up to 144 inches.
